2020 Mustang Mile - Mustangs in the Wild

Mustang Mile 2020

Mustang Mile: Mustangs in the Wild!

The Mustang Mile is our annual one-mile run and fall festival. It's our only active fundraiser all year, and also a fun community-building event. Unfortunately, due to restrictions on group gatherings, it's impossible for us to host the Mustang Mile and Fall Festival in person as we usually do. But Mustangs never quit. Join us for a very 2020 spin on our beloved tradition this year. Mustang Mile 2020: Mustangs in the Wild. Our kids will still have a virtual spirit week and run on their own - whether that's around the peanut, or in your neighborhood.  We will have a Facebook event page for parents to post pictures or videos of their kids' spirit week and runs. You can hashtag your Facebook or Instagram posts #mustangsinthewild2020, too. We cannot wait to see our Meridian Mustangs as they run wild!

While this year looks very different, a few things remain the same, including our need to raise funds to offer the same classroom support we always have. The Meridian Elementary Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) provides the funds for many subscriptions the school uses throughout the year including Scholastic News, Reading Eggs, Pebble Go, and Power Knowledge. These resources are needed whether our kids are learning in school or remotely. Though this year looks different, our need for fundraising to continue to offer these subscriptions and other resources for our teachers and staff remains.

We are so excited for this year's event. Donations are now welcome at: https://donatenow.networkforgood.org/mustangs2020

This year all information will be provided digitally and we can only accept online donations. Below are some helpful links and important dates:

We couldn't do this without our sponsors! A huge thank you to our Title Sponsor, Team Dini, our Platinum Sponsors Prentice Orthodontics and Ridgeview Pediatric Dentistry, our Gold Sponsor Larry H Miller VW, and our silver sponsors RedLine Athletics, and Unite! We couldn't do this without them.
