Meridian Book Fair

The Scholastic Book Fair will be at our school Monday, February 1 – Thursday, February 4.
Classrooms will be scheduled to preview the books Monday afternoon and all day Tuesday. The book fair will be open to the public:

Monday, February 1: 11:30 am – 2:20 pm

Tuesday, February 2: 7:30 am - 4:30 pm

Wednesday, February 3: 7:30 am – 4:30 pm

Thursday, February 4: 7:30 am – 8:00 pm

Please mark your calendar for Thursday, February 5th.
The book fair will be open all day, from 7:30 am – 8:00 pm during the Parent/Teacher conferences.
Please stop by and shop before or after your scheduled conference time.

Meridian's Science Fair has been changed from February 4th to May 13th. Instead of having this during Parent/Teacher Conferences as originally scheduled, we will hold this during the K/1st Learning Extravaganza. Look for some exciting science demonstrations in the library during Parent/Teacher Conferences. Ms. Meier will be sharing demonstrations, books, and talking up the Science Fair in classes in March to get more student involvement. We would like this to be our biggest and best fair yet! Science Fair Revised Packet »Education Foundation Grant: Mrs. Randall, Ms. Meier, and Ms. Voll recently received a $4,000 grant from our District's Education Foundation to fund some new technology equipment. We will purchasing Mimio Bars and Tablets to be used in conjunction with projectors and computers. These are similar to Smartboards.

»Cartridges for Kids Recycling We will be recycling with Cartridges for Kids all year. Keep dropping off your items either to the lab or the box near the office. Thanks for supporting this endeavor. »Parent/Teacher Conferences Will be held on Thursday, February 4th unless scheduled at a different time by your child's classroom teacher.
